LONDONERS
is a new prime-time 13-part television series for
TVP (Telewizja Polska SA - the Polish public
service channel, equivalent to the BBC).
It is being produced by BESTA FILM and the director is: Greg Zgzlinsky, a Polish/Swiss film director, whose film Tout En Hiver Sans Feu was selected for the Swiss entry for the 2006 Oscars 'Best Foreign Language Film'.
This is a series with the highest production values and starring Poland's top film stars, and some of the UK's brightest new talent.
The series centres around the lives of a handful of Polish immigrants living in London.
Dominic is playing Peter - a blasé Englishman who likes parties, beautiful women and adventures. He employs and befriends Darek and 'dates' a girl named Mariola, two of the central characters in the series. This will be an ongoing role for Dominic throughout the series.
Londoners (Series 1) premiered on TVP1 in Poland on 23rd October 2008. Series 2 is currently in production and will air in September or October 2009, on TVP1 in Poland.
